Amplifiers are getting more powerful to drive speakers that need more current to perform at their best.  To meet the needs of customers who are upgrading to the more powerful amplifiers, we have now added to our Litz speaker cables with the new Litz 400.  This cable is designed to work with amps over 300 watts. It is a thicker Litz construction that delivers the power to drive the speakers while still preserving the integrity, precision and details of the music - which only Litz wire can do.  Standard multi-strand and solid core cables are not able to deliver the power to drive the speakers and a full frequency response at the same time.  Please scroll down for more information and pricing.

Five pairs of the Litz 400 were sold prior to its release based on user testing of the pilot cable.   The pilot cable is still available for home demo.  But there is only one pair available.  If interested let me know via the Contact page.

The Aurealis Litz speaker cables use a special construction with multiple fine strands of silver Litz wrapped around an individually insulated core of copper Litz.  This unique silver / copper spiral construction of results in a wonderful listening experience. The music is more three-dimensional, multi-layered and superbly detailed. The sound stage is wide and open, and pleasurably deep as well. But above all, effortless musicality is the key feature of the new Litz speaker cables.

Four designs of the Litz cables are available based on customers' power requirements:

• The Litz 201 - is recommended for amplifiers up to 100 watts
• The Litz 202 - is recommended for amplifiers from 100 to 200 watts
• The Litz 303 – is recommended for amplifiers 200 watts to 300 watts
• The Litz 400 - is recommended for amplifiers > 300 watts

However, these are conservative recommendations, and guidelines only. During extensive user testing the 201 cable performed extremely well with amplifiers up to 200 watts. At the same time, the Litz 400 cables are also more than suitable for amplifiers less than 300 watts, especially if your system is capable of digging down deep at the bass end.

Each speaker cable uses a lightweight polymer tube to protect the delicate Litz wires and is finished in an attractive external braid.
