This is multi-strand tin-plated copper wire in a cotton and oil dielectric. It was developed by Duelund to replicate the wonderful tonal qualities of the original Western Electric speaker cable.

Listening tests have shown that this wire gets close to the detail and sound staging of our premium Litz wire.

Duelund 12GA Twisted Pair Speaker Cables - Now available in Duelund Dual 12GA

Two runs of Duelund 12GA wire come in their own cotton sleeving.

It is also possible to place a Techflex style black polymer braid over the cotton.

Duelund 1216 Bi-wire Speaker Cable

The Duelund bi-wire speaker cable is a combination of 16 GA wire for the high frequencies and 12 GA for the low frequencies. This combination delivers a clear and transparent high end, the natural Duelund mid-range and a precise and powerful bass.

In addition to the features already listed for the 16 GA and 12 GA speaker cables, the bi-wire cables feature a 4-wired braid and grey paracord finishing. The paracord adds additional insulation, which together with the 4-wire braid geometry, reduces cross talk between wire strands.
